ABOUT SILK ROAD RESTAURANT
Established in November 2001,
Silk Road Restaurant is a full-service restaurant
concept featuring selective cuisines that stretch
along the historical Silk Road in China namely
the provinces of Sichuan, Shaanxi, Liaoning and
Beijing.
A team of highly specialised
and trained chefs ensure that the original unique
flavour and taste of the dishes are maintained
with the judicious use of specially imported spices
and sauces.
The service staff whilst providing
excellent service standards are also knowledgeable
about the culinary customs and history of the
dishes served in the restaurant.
Unlike typical Chinese restaurants,
Silk Road Restaurant's ambience and décor
define unique dignified elegance through the use
of warm and neutral colours to express a contemporary
feel. The warm tones and dim lights add a soft,
soothing touch to the dining experience.
A special eye-catching feature
of the restaurant is its showcase-kitchen concept,
where customers can see the food being prepared.
In particular, the chefs demonstrate their skill
at the special handmade noodles and juicy dumplings.
A tea master will also be on hand to serve aromatic
eight-treasure tea as he pours piping hot water
from a copper kettle with a metre long spout.
